The latter showedour volunteer group age and was arevelation to the much younger Wayneand Ellen.Lunch concluded, we packed upand headed off to Kelly Hut. Therewas very little to do at the hut andsome rubbish was collected. Wayneexplained the complex process ofrestoring and saving the hut thatParks Victoria and members of theVictorian High Country HutsAssociation are engaged in. Due to itsheritage status, great care is taken tomake the repairs fit in with the historiccharacter of the hut. Our work for the day was complete. diesel was $2.22 a litre.
