Parks Victoria are pleased to announce, with approval from the Mansfield ICC Incident Controller, it is safe to reopen sections of the Alpine National Park within the Howqua Valley. These include Gardner's Hut, 7 and 8 Mile Camping areas, Ritchie's Hut, Pikes Flat, Bindaree Flat and Upper Howqua Camping areas.
Please see the attached list of current site and track closure status within the Mansfield area for the Alpine National Park, Howqua Hills Historic Area, Mt Samaria State Park and sections of State Forest. Parks Victoria staff have been working collaboratively with FFMV and DELWP, the State Forest information has been included on the same document.
For all Park Closures, continue to check www.parks.vic.gov.au for all the lates closures, fire affected parks and change of conditions.

Plan ahead before visiting by checking weather forecasts at bom.gov.au and Fire Danger Ratings at emergency.vic.gov.au.
