TORBETTS ROAD
TEMPORARY CLOSURE MAINTENANCE WORKS
MAY 2019
A temporary closure will be in place along a section of Torbetts Road including weekends from MONDAY 13TH MAY - FRIDAY 31ST MAY 2019 (dates are only an approximate guide). TORBETTS ROAD will be closed from HACKETTS CREEK ROAD to MOUNT BEENAK ROAD (please see map below). There will be no access whilst maintenance works are being undertaken.
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning implement maintenance works to maintain our strategic roads to a high standard, ensuring public safety throughout the year. Torbetts Road is an important arterial road within the Yarra State Forest with fire access being a priority. These works will safeguard its quality and access into the future.
