Forest Fire Management Victoria has identified an increase in the illegal dumping of potentially hazardous commercial waste and household rubbish as a major concern for public land across the north east region. Alarmingly a number of the incidents involved the dumping of asbestos and other potentially dangerous waste that appear to be associated with commercial businesses.
