Four Wheel Drive Victoria have been notified that Forest Fire Management Victoria has reopened a section of Marginal Road between Dunstan’s Road and Thowgla Falls in the Nariel Valley, which was closed during the wet months to keep drivers safe and reduce the damage to the forest road.
Seasonal road closures on public land have also been lifted, however, the following roads in the Upper Murray remain closed to reduce the risk to the public:
• Mt Brutal Track
• Mt Charlie Track
• Zulu Mine Track
Parks Victoria has also confirmed that the following roads are closed on their estate:
• McNamara’s Track
• Mt Burrowa Track
• Lower Dogman Track – North
Parks Victoria recommends to seek an alternate route on Pinnibar Track, however this track is not closed.
