Four Wheel Drive Victoria have been informed by Parks Victoria that 3 seasonal road closures within the Mallacoota area/ Croajingolong National Park will remain closed until further notice due to them requiring road surfacing works. Currently Lakeview Track, Miner’s Track and Betka Track will remain closed
and this information has been passed onto Parks Victoria’s info line along with a change of conditions notice on the PV website.
Works are planned for repairing Lakeview Track which will hopefully commence in the coming months.
Miner’s track is yet to receive funding for repair works and the condition of the track is currently un safe to allow Parks Victoria to open it to the public.
Betka Track isn’t in too bad of condition but as it links to Miner’s track it will remain closed until Parks Victoria can close off access to Miner’s track. Hopefully Parks Victoria can get Betka track back open in the coming months.
