Red Dirt 4x4 Club has been around, under the name of API 4x4 Club, for 25 years. We have a mix of working and retired members which gives us opportunities for both week day and weekend single and 2-4 day trips. We have an extended trip each year. A mix of vehicles means there is always friendly rivallry.
We enjoy getting up into the High Country in Victoria for short trips as well as covering distant parts of Australia including recent trips to the Kimberley, Madigan Line, Flinders Ranges and Dragon Tree Soak. In April 2018 a group headed across the Simpson Desert. A very successful trip recently was to Swifts Creek. Almost half the group were camped at the camp ground.
We enjoy a social time, either at meetings, where we don't allow the meeting to take up too much of the evening, or out and about.
